Ordering from the Antique Guild
- If you want to purchase one of the items displayed on our website, call us at the shop during shop hours Monday to Saturday 11 to 5 EST or send us an e-mail expressing your definite interest
- We can send you a more detailed description and can e-mail you a scanned image/photo of the item. Or we can mail out a hard copy of that image if you prefer.
- When you decide to purchase the item(s) you can fax your credit card details-- VISA, MASTERCARD or DISCOVER or AMERICAN EXPRESS. We do need you to send us a fax containing a front and back image of the card with your signature verifying the purchase. Your billing address with zip code is necessary too.
- Or you can call us with your credit card information over the phone. This information needs to include the address (with zip code) of the billing address and any other instuctions.
- If you prefer to pay by check or money order, you can mail it to us with mailing instructions after confirming the purchase with us over the telephone.
Shipping costs will be discussed at time of purchase.
We like to ship most small items priority mail costing $4.60 + .75 plus the insurance $1.65 ( up to $50) and $2.05 ($50.01 to $100).
In addition to the postage, there is the Delivery Confirmation fee of $ 0.75 fee with check or money order
and the Signature Confirmation fee of $2.10 with credit card purchases.
EXAMPLES Of SHIPPING CHARGES:
An item with a value of up to $50
shipping cost:
$4.60 +.75+1.65= $7.00 with check (with Delivery Confirmation)
or $8.35 with credit card (with Signature Confirmation)
(the difference of $1.35 is between the cost of the Delivery Confirmation and the Signature Confirmation fees)
An item with a value of $50.01 to $100/
shipping cost:
$4.60 +2.05 +.75= $7.40 with check (Delivery Confirmation)
or $8.75 with a credit card (Signature Confirmation)
United States Postage Insured Rates:
$1.65 ................ $0.01 to $50
$2.05 ................ $50.01 to $100
$2.45 ................ $100.01 to $200
$4.60 ................ $200.01 to $300
$5.50 ................ $300.01 to $400
$6.40 ................ $400.01 to $500
$7.30……………$500.01 to $600
$7.30 plus $0.90 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 to $5,000.
